Okay, y’all, I know you saw the pictures Tia posted yesterday, but once again: posterity! We got to see two of our good friends and ex-roommates get married–or, anyway, I did, while Tia played assistant to Braden the Fertografer and while Michael played Best Man, or whatever. It was nice to just be an observer!
And I finally got a chance to wear the pretty ombre-green pashmina that I thrifted some months ago. I’d just been keeping it in a drawer in my office, because they keep the entire building at sub-zero temperatures and I am a delicate, easily-chilled flower.
Also, it lets me pretend I’m a stately seventy-year-old woman, which is usually a plus.

Sunday, we went up into spaaaaaaace!
Okay, maybe not. But we did go to the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, and I got to take a low-res picture “floating” in space! Whee. But that place is serious fun no matter what age you are, and I highly recommend it if you’re ever in the area. We spent a bunch of hours screwing around with volcano simulators and stuff, and then went to the Home of Chicken and Waffles in Jack London Square–another place I highly recommend if you’re in the area. And, y’know, if you like chicken and waffles, which we all obviously do.
Anyway, that was last weekend (not counting Monday because Tia has all the pictures for then). Do y’all have anything going on this weekend? I’m going in for my first ever buzz cut on Saturday, and then I might be off to the Bay Area to hang out with some of my favorite people and cats. You know, as one does.
