Fashion, Books, and (Sometimes) Bikes

Dress: Multiple Threads — Sandals: Birkenstock — Bangles: Gift — Necklace: Hand-me-down

The time has finally come, friends. I couldn’t wait any longer. I wanted–nay, HAD to–show you…the giraffe dress.

This was definitely my biggest impulse buy at the Solano Stroll a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t regret it for a moment.

It may not be suitable for work, seeing as how it’s made out of old t-shirt material, but that’s just fine by me. I’ll just be over here, wearing it every weekend, all weekend.

Well, okay, maybe not. But I think this is my equivalent of George Costanza’s “drape myself in velvet” fantasy.

Oh, giraffe dress. Don’t ever leave me.

(P.S. Guess which co-blogger Mike and I are picking up at the San Francisco Airport tonight to whisk away for dinner? Thaaaat’s right, it’s Flat Tire Tia! She’s in town over the weekend for a conference, so we’re getting in some quality time while we still can. She better get ready for some noogies!)

  2. Giraffes are my fave. Seriously, I slept with one for years. Wait, that sounds bad. It was plush.

There’s a lot of joy in this dress I can tell :)

  3. OMG. I love it. Yes, wear it every weekend.. and I expect to see it layered in winter!
