Shirt: Goodwill (Forever 21) — Tank top: Goodwill — Skirt: eBay (Anthropologie) — Sandals: Goodwill (Target) — Necklace: DIY — Bracelet: Gift
(I was laughing at myself because a carpenter bee totally buzzed me and I reacted in an unnecessarily started manner. Bees, quit teasing me!)
So, this top makes me feel a little bit like Peter Pan, and it’s also about as flimsy as you’d expect a typical Forever 21 shirt to be, but I do like the green color.
I think this outfit idea came about when I had the three main garments all lying together on my drying rack–not because they were drying, but because I’m intrinsically lazy and didn’t want to put them away–and liked the effect. But that’s not a very exciting story, so we’ll pretend I said something more interesting, something involving three wishes and a knife fight.
I’m on my own tonight (well, by the time you guys read this, I will be talking about “last night,” but bear with me as we experience the weird time travel of blogging), and whenever I know Mike’s going to be out of the house, I tend to make up grandiose plans about the things I’ll eat or do that isn’t an “us” thing, like Thai food and catching up on writing or something like that. Of course, in the long run I tend to be too tired/lazy (there’s that word again) and I end up settling for saimin and a TV show he doesn’t like. But at least I know I’m going to get a good night’s sleep while he’s off having fun!
Then again, maybe tonight I’ll treat myself to a movie with my three-minute dinner instead of more ofUnited States of Tara. Either way, this Netflix ain’t gonna watch itself.
