Well, hello and happy Tuesday! How are y’all? I’m feeling very nearly up to snuff and back to work, which is kind of a relief. I spent a harrowing hour and a half with Flat Tire at the vet yesterday–harrowing not because it was any kind of emergency, but because being put in a carrier and taken anywhere turns the Tire into a screaming, hissing, yowling little monster, barely recognizable as our sweet, stupid little at-home kitty. But she’s been hurting her stump a lot more lately than she had been, and took her in for a consultation regarding a possible amputation of the rest of her leg. It would be major surgery, but the vet agreed that it would be a good step in terms of her quality of life, and that she would recover fairly quickly and adapt to being a true three-legged cat instead of a three-and-a-half-legged cat.

Anyhow, Mike and I still have to discuss the matter, and it’ll probably be another week or two before we get back to the vet’s office with our decision, but I’ll keep you all updated. (She did calm down again after I got her back home, and she napped petty heavily all afternoon, even for a cat. Poor stressed kittybuns.)

Until then, I still have clothing to show off! I definitely like this green shirt better when I wear it open. When I try to button it up, it’s both too tight and too short–and I look like I don’t know what size I am, which is just no good. It’s pretty comfy as something to throw on over camisoles and tank tops to make them work-appropriate, though!

Plus, it makes me look like I’m selling tickets to the gun show. Huuuh!

  1. Poor kittyboo!! And poor you guys for having to decide if the leg stays or goes… that’s gotta be tough! Whatever you decide will be best, I’m sure. Flat Tire is lucky to have you!

Also, this outfit delights me. Love the spring-y color blocking m’dear πŸ™‚

  2. Aw, poor Flat Tire. 😦 I hope that if the surgery happens she’ll come out of it a happier kitty.

    Unrelated: this outfit is lovely.
