I’m going to be sappy for a minute here: I got some really heartwarming comments last week that were pretty perfectly timed to help negate an attack of the Low Self Esteems, and I wanted to say thank you. So, thanks, guys! Not just to the comment-givers, but to all of you out there, our readers and friends and internet buddies who help make this blogging thing so much fun.
I hope I can pay that feeling forward, not just for sentiment’s sake, but because you’re a heart-stopping group of smart, funny, amazing people, and I hope you know it.
I decided to wear something a little sweet and/or romantic last week to help with the self esteem blues, so we’ve got bow-shoes, polka dots, lavender, and grey.
Plus, my birthday gift to me arrived in the mail, and it seemed like the perfect counterpoint to the rest of the outfit. Oh, tiny hummingbird skull pendant, how long I have pined after thee! At long last, you are mine.
Most of the time my self-esteem issues are tied to things other than physical appearance, but that doesn’t mean that a cute outfit or a new dye job can’t help perk things up. It’s getting better!
Your hummingbird skull necklace is so unique- I love it! Not sure when your birthday was exactly, but Happy Belated Birthday! 🙂
Your necklace is so pretty! I love the delicate silver animal skull necklaces that have come into fashion so much. Pretty and macabre!
This outfit is darling!! And the new hair is awesome
