Can you guys keep a secret?

If I’m wearing a hat, 90% of the time it’s because my hair is getting long and unruly and I don’t have time to fiddle with it before leaving for work. (Another secret is that this sweater is definitely black and not charcoal grey, but you can take that up with the flash and umbrella.)

Fortunately, I got a haircut over the weekend and feel much more like myself again, but we’ve got a fair few outfit posts of shaggy Mia before it shows up in pictures. Such is life! Or such is outfit blogging, anyway.

I hope you all had an excellent weekend no matter where you are; if you haven’t seen it yet, over at Nisaba Be Praised my lovely co-blogger Tito shared a wonderfully detailed infographic on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life, as well as a link to some of his lesser-known but incredibly powerful speeches. Go on and give a listen! We shouldn’t be thinking about him only once a year when so many of his values are worth carrying in our hearts for always.

  1. Well the hat looks totally cute! So I wouldn’t be too concerned. 😉 I attacked my own hair because the ‘lady mullet’ was getting out of control. It’s like the bottom line of my hair grows four times faster than all the rest of it. I hate to pay for an extra hair cut just to cut that off.
