Top: Goodwill (Target) — Skirt: Blacklist Vintage — Oxfords: Payless — Socks: Target — Necklace: DIY — Watch: Hand-me-down

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it, but Tia is coming to California! Better yet, she’ll be here in two days! I know she’s probably got a lot of stuff to wrap up before she and Braden get here, but I’m still super jazzed to see her squishy face. Who knows what her hair will look like?!

(You’d better believe there’ll be some team outfit pictures a-comin’. Tia’s face will be on the blerg once again! I’ll even hold up the daily newspaper to prove that we didn’t plan to fake this whole thing four months ago.)

I’m so excited, my hedgehog socks have come out to play.

Temperatures have dropped just a little around here–just enough to remind me that it is, in fact, still March. (I know it’s still quite a bit warmer than for youse folks out East, and for that I’m sorry. I’m not trying to flaunt it.)

All that to say that a short-sleeved shirt may have been a bit overconfident of me yesterday, but I muddled through. I won’t go back to tights, I just won’t!

  1. The funnest skirt! I was wondering where you were that allowed you to wear such summery/springy things without freezing. I’m happy just to be out of tights. It was kind of chilly without them today, but I’m kind of refusing to go back to them right now.

I love everything about this outfit. I think I need a spotted shirt! I was able to get away with no tights for a couple of days last week, but now that my parents who live in the sub-tropics are coming for a visit this week, the weather is getting ready to show its hateful, cold March nature.

  3. Still stuck in the land of tights and hose here. No bare arms to wave about in celebration of spring either, unless you want them to freeze in place. I am excited that Tia is coming, and LOL when you referenced her “squishy” face. You guys are so CUTE 🙂
