Blazer: Swapped — Skirt: Goodwill — Camisole: Van Heusen Outlet — Flats: American Rag — Earrings and bracelet: Hand-me-down

Evidently, I had the sillies while taking pictures yesterday after work. I’m pretty sure it’s no secret that I’m kind of a goofburger, but some days it’s more obvious than others.

I’ve never been a terribly dignified person, and as I think I’ve mentioned before, I sometimes feel a little disappointed in myself for not being that way. Why can’t I be cool and confident and a little mysterious?

I talk too loudly and emote too much, I’m a chronic oversharer, and I’m way too scatterbrained. Dignity isn’t really in my wheelhouse.

But, you know, fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, I gotta be me.

Whatever that means.

  1. “It” being the word “cute” of course ~ I’m starting to understand why I didn’t always get 100% on my English papers that I thought I should get 😛

  2. Becky Shelley says:

But I know you to well to fall for that nonsense! 😉 you act appropriate to the situation which is as it should be. Everyone should/needs to cut loose and be irreverent sometimes, otherwise you would see people all over the place with sticks up their you know what. Which is what happens to people who don’t cut loose the grow sticks out of their behinds. Its very serious we should get together and do a telethon or something for those poor souls! Love you love your style! muah!

  3. I love this outfit! Megan (Megan Mae Daily) linked you up today in her post, and I’m glad she did! I cut my hair short a few months ago and have been struggling to look feminine, quirky, and professional and this outfit really helped me out! Thanks!
