Hello, internet. I hope you had a good weekend, or weekend-equivalent!

My weekend was so-so: our refrigerator broke, which put a crimp in most of my cooking plans, but I got a lot of cleaning and some writing done so I suppose it all comes out in the wash.

And October is nigh, bringing with it the promise of Dewey’s Read-a-Thon and Halloween, so what better time to break out the pumpkin orange?

Do you have anything exciting awaiting you for the month of October, besides the slow slide into Seasonal Affective Disorder?

  1. Orange! And a pretty, pretty dress. I can’t believe you’re in bare legs though. It got COLD this weekend here in Oregon and I’m all bundled up. Seriously though, I’m not sure this is going to be a slow slide into SAD; I’m pretty sure if you check back Wednesday it’ll be full-blown. Stupid Oregon rain.

  2. This is a great color combination πŸ™‚

I’m waiting for lots of yellow and red leaves. Although those might not actually happen until November, like last year.

  3. Great cardigan! Is your fridge fixed now? I wonder how we’d manage if ours broke!

October is going to be a super exciting month for me – a big ultrasound tomorrow, hubs’ birthday on the 14th and then a babymoon to Bangkok at the end of the month! Woo!

  4. Ohno! Sorry about the fridge. Nothing too exciting for me for October. In fact, it’s the only month I don’t have scribbles all over my calendar. Hopefully I’ll get to planning. Maybe a new kitten this month~ Maybe.

  5. Awesome color combo. We debated painting a room at work in similar shades of blue and orange, they go so well together!! Thanks for the reminder on Read-a-Thon, I saw it on your blog before and I think I’m going to try it! Yay!
