You folks remember Amy, right? Of course you do! She’s Tia’s aunt and a longtime reader, and last year she wrote a delightful guest post for Reading In Skirts that I took much joy in publishing. Well, on Tuesday, I finally got to meet Amy face-to-face! She and Tia’s grandma were visiting Tia’s family, and they very graciously invited me and Mike over for dinner so that we could hang out and have fun. Tia’s related to a lot of rad people, I gotta tell you. Amy’s super cool and I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to chat.
Oh, yeah, and besides dinner, we got to watch Tia’s dad play with his new Tesla coil. (It sings!) If you’ve ever wondered where some of Tia’s interest in science comes from, look no further. Tia herself will be ’round these parts starting next week, so you better bet you’ll be seeing some team outfit posts. And possibly more hot Tesla coil action.

Hooray! I not only met Mia but I made the blog! Hopefully I don’t drag down the coolness factor too much with my t-shirt and jeans style of dress. It was awesome having dinner with you and being able to meet y’all in person 🙂
