Shirt and skirt: Thrifted — Sandals: 6pm.com (Dansko) — Ring: Target — Earrings: Hand-me-down
I think that this skirt is one of the oldest-to-me items in my wardrobe.
I say oldest-to-me because it was one of the first things I thrifted when I started in earnest a couple of years ago. Naturally, the vintage dress I have from the 1950s is chronologically older. (If it’s from a vintage store, is it technically “thrifted”? I feel like there’s a Venn diagram to be made here.)
I think it was originally from H&M before it fell into my hands at Goodwill, and for all that I’ve heard about that company’s shoddy workmanship, it’s held up wonderfully!
I’m pretty sure these earrings are also a few decades older than the skirt–and me, for that matter–but they came from my mom’s jewelry collection, so it’s not the same.
