Shirt: Target — Skirt: Thrifted (H&M) — Shoes: Thrifted (Born) — Footie socks: Sock Dreams (Sheer Polka Dot Toe Footie, no longer available) — Vest: Thrifted (Gap) [patch: gift] — Earrings: Heatherly Designs
This isn’t really an outfit, per se, so much as it’s a combination of two other outfits mashed together out of necessity.
Let me explain: I went out to San Francisco this weekend for the aforementioned big brunch (!!!)–which was excellent, by the way–and I ended up staying over in the city an extra night to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
Seeing as how I didn’t bring an extra night’s worth of clothes, bits from Friday and Saturday turned into Sunday’s exhausted ride-home-on-the-train ensemble. I was maybe a little rumpled (what else is new?), but I’d call it passable!
My artichoke vest did most of the heavy lifting here, though, to give it the credit it deserves. Julie, who made this killer piece of embroidery, was visiting from Oregon and I wanted everyone to see how great her art looks out and about in the world.
Plus, I got to sing “Sugar We’re Going Down” with her at my first-ever karaoke session in honor of our buddy Liz. That’s definitely worth having to wear clothes a second time.
