Most days when I’m getting dressed, I have to pick between largish earrings and largish necklace. The common piece of advice about not crowding your face too much is a fair one!

Sometimes it’s just too much and throws the balance off. If you know me at all, you know that earrings usually end up winning out. I’m just an earring person; it’s in my blood. (You should see my mom’s collection.)

Once in a while, though, there’s a day where I look at my options and decide to go for the gusto.

Then it’s earrings and necklace galore, and I enjoy having my face crowded a little bit. After all, nobody has to dress for balance if that’s not what they want.

Take that, advice!

I think you look neither overcrowded nor unbalanced. Maybe it’s just that your necklace & earrings match in terms of colour, or that they are both metal rather than bright colours, or that your outfit, being pale grey, is close enough in colour to your jewelry to mean ithe latter doesn’t shout out, but you look very sleek and non-overdone to me.not that I necessarily would be a proponent of the either-all advice anyway!
