The neckline of this dress makes it difficult in certain situations–it doesn’t really work with necklaces and I have to be really careful not to lean over too far–but it’s fun and interesting enough that I don’t really care.

Who needs necklaces or leaning over, anyhow?

Speaking of difficult: I really like the clean lines and stitching of this belt, but it’s a little too small and it’s time to admit that we should part ways. It’s nobody’s fault; sometimes these things just don’t work out. Anyway, belt, I hope we can stay friends, and maybe get some coffee sometime.

  1. you could always apply a little bit of double-sided garment tape or …maybe sock glue? I don’t really know anything about sock glue other than that you’ve said the two words together before but ANYWAY you could use that to tack the neckline to yourself in a couple places so you don’t have to worry about it
let me know the details of that belt, if it’s not leather I should perhaps like to purchase it from you
also also I might have some guest posts for you in the near-ish future if I can figure out what happened to the tripod

  2. I love the neckline on this dress! It doesn’t need a necklace – it frames your lovely face and draws the attention there. For some reason, I am really drawn to gray, yellow and white, so the colors of this dress make me happy!
