Hello, my darling field of ash gourds! I’m going to take a little time off the blog for my holiday preparations and travels. Until I return, please enjoy this photo of Flat Tire gettin’ snug.
See you flowering herbaceous vines soon.

Dudes and duderinos, I hate to say it, but I’m wiped. It’s only Monday and it’s already been a long week! Please accept this text-lite post with my apologies, and feel free to fill in your own witty captions about leggings with Victorian houses on them.

Well! That certainly was nearly a monthlong break I took there, wasn’t it?
First of all, we took our trip to the East Coast, which I’d already figured on taking off. (It was delightful, by the way, and I’m hoping to get my pictures from it up soon to share with everyone!)
Then I conveniently caught a cold while in Philadelphia and have been struggling to get over it pretty much ever since; so that, and just getting back into the groove at home, knocked me off the blog habit for a couple of weeks, and some brain problem issues have also made it tougher to start back up again.
But hey, hello, here I am! Finally back and magnanimously sharing with you a very old and not terribly interesting outfit!
I deserve a medal.

Hey pals–I’m still not feeling so hot, so please feel free to enjoy this text-light post and I’ll be back soon.

Hey, buds! I am WIPED from this week, so please enjoy a rare text-light post! I’ll be back to word-vomit all over you tomorrow, I promise. (Gross, Mia. Gross.)
Dress: Thrifted (J.Crew) — Cardigan: Thrifted (Carole Little) — Socks: Sock Dreams (Meg Unconstricted Top Crew in Pink) — Flats: Thrifted (Born) — Earrings: Vendor at Labor Day Pow-Wow
The briefest of posts because I have to fly–please notice that these earrings match this cardigan almost perfectly. It’s something I’m very proud of, despite having no hand in the creation of either.

Hey there, you amino acids, you! I’m feeling a wee bit botched today, so please enjoy the calming silence of this mostly text-free post. I’ll probably be back to my old self tomorrow.
Hey, y’all, and happy Friday, if it is indeed Friday where you’re reading this.
I’ll be honest with you: I’m dang tired, and by the time you read this I may have left work early to crash at home and nurse my burgeoning cold (damn these plague-ridden coworkers!)–but here are some pictures from the last couple days, still taken indoors but somewhat improved by the presence of the flash.
My 30 for 30 is drawing to a close, and not a moment too soon. I’m ready to wear something else for a change!
Peace out, and see you back here (maybe) on Monday.
Top: The Brown Elephant — Pants: Old Navy — Camisole: Ragstock — Flats: Thrifted (Born) — Earrings: Etsy — Bracelet: Found
I’m not feeling much like a functional human being today, so I’ll keep this short.
The weather today is blustery and rainy in the extreme, so it’s nice to have these pictures from more pleasant climes last week to look at.
Which is not to say that I consider rain unpleasant–just complicated, pictures-wise.
I managed to sneak in another wearing of these wooden earrings–I wish I could wear them more often, but they’re rather difficult to put on (attempt to center main body of earring over pierced hole; attempt to thrust post through both earring and pierced hole and back out again without causing ears undue damage), so they’ve remained a once-in-a-while accessory.
The point may be moot anyway, because rainy weather doesn’t seem like it would be good for wooden jewelry. Does anybody know if that’s actually true, or if I’m just making things up again? It wouldn’t be the first time.
Button-front: Goodwill (Express) — Skirt: Kathie Lee Collection — Tights: Target — Flats: Thrifted (Born) — Earrings and scarf: Gifts from Katie! — Ring: Monterey Bay Aquarium
Hey, y’all–I’m home from work today and don’t really feel up to writing text to accompany these pictures, so please excuse the wordless interruption. I should be back tomorrow and better than ever. (Oh, and one note? Katie is one of the awesomest folks ever who sent me a bunch of pretty jewelry and scarves–including the scarf and earrings seen here–and stuff and I almost cried.)
