I wanted to wear my gold shoes with this outfit, but, uh, I can’t find them right now.
I guess that’s what happens when your house is a sty!
I have been somewhat remiss in cleaning lately due to a) tiredness and b) laziness, but all that is GOING TO CHANGE, I swear it in front of the fives of people who read this blog.
I have nothing going on this weekend, so sweeping of floors, sorting of laundry, and washing of dishes will be the order of the day.
I’ll probably listen to a lot of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar while I’m at it. I’ve been on an old-timey radio kick lately, and when Johnny Dollar switched to its five-day story arcs, it got pretty good! And he is the fabulous freelance insurance investigator with the action-packed expense account, after all.
Anyway, I’m kind of glad I couldn’t find my gold shoes because it gave me an opportunity to wear these Lemon-brand socks with the narrowest turquoise edge. They’re scrunchy and light and thin, and slip around on my feet a bit but are great when it’s still too warm for proper bootsocks. Thanks for hiding from me, Golden Ponies!
